Two structures discovered in foundation trenches during construction work on the current gasworks site in 1952. A small capstoned chamber 2.4m x 1.8m was paved and contained tree trunks, flint chips and animal bones. The second structure consisted of an avenue of two parallel rows of upright slabs 1.7m apart some of which have been re-erected at the museum at La Hougue Bie. |
